Application Instructions

The first step on your path to homeownership is to fill out our application. Read the simple instructions, below. When ready, click the red "Apply Now" button to the right to begin the application process. It's quick, easy and secure. It will take approximately 15 minutes to fill out the form, and a $20 fee will be charged.

Regardless of how many properties you are interested in, only one application is needed. If the application is filled out completely, the approval process should take 72 hours or less. An application is good for 30 days. Please be sure to complete your process by sending all your income documentation such as: W2, 1099, child support, alimony and any other sources of income via FAX at (510) 373-6333, email or mail.

Application Steps

1. Carefully read our Qualification Requirements, then click the red Apply Now button, above. This will take you to a website managed by Able Screening, the company that handles our applications.
2. Check the box "I am applying for residency with Waypoint Homes". This will put you directly into our online application process.
3. Fill out the Rental Application COMPLETELY. The more accurate the information you provide, the easier and quicker the approval process. Should you need to add a co-applicant, you may do so by clicking on "co-applicant spouse" to enter their information.
4. Don't forget to electronically sign the form when you are finished by clicking over the "Sign Acknowledgement" box. Remember to double check all your information before "signing".
5. Pay application electronically with a debit card with VISA logo, or major credit card. VISA and M/C are accepted. You may also apply in person at our offices in Oakland California or by working with an agent in the field call (510) 250-2200 for more information.
